It’s important to have a trusted plumber just a phone call away but finding a plumbing company you can always count on can feel like a shot in the dark. Perhaps you’ve felt you were overcharged for plumbing or the company didn’t send experienced people your way. And that’s while we’ll provide you with a detailed invoice so you know exactly what you are paying for. Chris formed our company in 2009 after working for 10 years as a technician, supervisor, and service manager for several plumbing, HVAC, and construction companies. His first plumbing job was working during school for his future father-in-law’s company, where he ultimately served as an apprentice. Chris remains a plumber at heart and still gets out on the job from time to time – often helping diagnose a challenging situation.
Chris maintains what he calls an “old-fashioned” business model for his company – for example billing based on time and materials rather than flat rates or book pricing. “My goals aren’t about numbers,” he explains, “I want our company to be known for providing excellent service, having an honest and well-trained team, and working for a fair price.”
In his spare time, Chris enjoys working on (and driving) his 1966 Mustang. He and his wife take long walks with their dog, and they spend as much time with their two daughters as they’ll allow!
Certifications:
Erin makes sure all the moving parts in our office move in the same direction. She manages accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll and oversees many other administration functions. Erin earned her accounting degree from Southwest Oklahoma State University and then she and her husband relocated to Colorado in 2010. Erin joined our company in 2015, initially as a dispatcher before taking on more responsibilities.
Erin really appreciates the atmosphere of our company – in spite of its rapid growth, it still feels “homey” and like a family to her. She’s intrigued by the plumbing profession, and she’s picked up a few skills by observing our technicians around the shop. She’s also earned her Tankless Level One certification. Off the job, Erin and her husband spend quality time with their two pre-teen girls. They enjoy taking vacations to the beach and to visit family.
Susan joined our company in the summer of 2021, but she isn’t new to dispatching – she worked as a radio dispatcher for the Castle Rock Police Department years ago. After that, she supported students with assisted needs within the Douglas County School District. She was well-trained for all of that, plus her work for us, thanks to her graphics design degree from Arapahoe Community College!
The aspect of the job that Susan enjoys the most is communicating and coordinating with our customers and our technicians. She feels it’s very important to be able to accurately communicate information about our work and about the jobs she schedules, so she did some crash-course learning about basic plumbing by watching YouTube videos and asking lots of questions of our technicians in her first few months on the job.
Susan and her husband spend time with their two dogs now that their children are out of the house and on their own.
Tammy is the newest member of our Dispatch Team, joining us early in 2024. Throughout the day she’s answering phones providing customer support as well as scheduling our technicians. In her previous career, Tammy worked for more than 20 years as an operations manager for several convenience stores. In her spare time Tammy enjoys motorcycling and supporting her church where her husband is the pastor.
Elise is a very organized person … and that suits her perfectly for her role in our warehouse where she organizes supplies, maintains inventory, cuts copper piping and generally keeps everything in place and keeps the place ship shape! Elise recently graduated and joined us after working for several months at a veterinary clinic. She enjoys camping and road trips with her boyfriend and family.
Gerald joined A Perfect Plumber in 2024, relocating to the Denver area after working in management with several plumbing companies in southern Colorado. He provides a seamless customer service experience – from doing walkthroughs and preparing estimates to introducing the customer to the work crew in person. Gerald and his wife enjoy camping and fishing and they belong to an off-road 4X4 group.
Steve performs general plumbing service work, typically in conjunction with kitchen and bath remodels. His background is as a high-rise maintenance technician, but in 2014 his sister, our receptionist at the time, convinced him to join our team. In his spare time, Steve enjoys dirt trail riding and river fishing for bass and trout.
Certifications:
Dale heads up our tankless and boiler division. He got into the HVAC profession more than 20 years ago helping his father who had his own business. Dale enjoys the challenges he comes across every day and making things right for our customers. In his spare time he manages his flock of chickens (selling the eggs) and riding his Harley.
Rick Williams handles a wide range of plumbing services, focusing on residential repairs and boiler maintenance. With a background in construction and plumbing, Rick tackles everything from fixing leaks to servicing tankless boiler systems. He has extensive experience as a general contractor in both Kansas and Washington, where he honed his skills in plumbing, electrical, and construction work.
Certifications:
Dennis handles a variety of plumbing services, diagnostics, and re-pipe work. After several years working in assembly/manufacturing jobs, he found the transition to plumbing to be ideal since he could work directly with customers and clients. Outside of the job, Dennis enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, camping, and fishing.
Certifications:
Mitch joined the plumbing profession at age 18, encouraged by his cousin who was a plumbing estimator. It turned out to be a very good fit and Mitch ultimately joined our team in the Spring of 2021. In his spare time, Mitch builds race cars (his son races them) and he’s a coach for a local youth wrestling program.
Prior to joining on with us in mid-2021, Tony was a sewer worker, jetting and camera-ing sewer lines and mains. He didn’t mind that work, but he feels he’s found his true calling now. Tony is an avid gamer and also enjoys camping.
Casey has been in the plumbing trade since 2020, and he joined our team in the summer of 2023 at the encouragement of one of our teammates. He specializes in water filtration systems, among other areas. Casey had a desk job before that but found it wasn’t for him! Casey enjoys mountain biking and skiing in the Colorado hills.
Croix came to us from another plumbing company in mid-2023. Before that, he worked with a start-up company installing modular labs, but ultimately discovered he didn’t enjoy spending so much time behind a desk. He switched to plumbing, a career where he could work with his hands. In his off hours, Croix spends time restoring his 2007 SUV as well as hiking and fishing.
Tyler came aboard with A Perfect Plumber in November 2023 and is primarily involved in running water and gas lines as well as installing drainage pipe and venting systems. After attending the University of Northern Colorado, Tyler worked with another, smaller plumbing company before joining us. He spends much of his free time outdoors fishing, hunting and camping.
Mat’s story is similar to his brother Michael’s, who is also on our team. They both worked for their father’s plumbing company through school. For the most part, Mat stuck with the trade for the next 15+ years, while occasionally taking on other jobs. He joined our team in 2016. Outside of work, Mat enjoys fishing and kayaking in the summer, but he, his wife, and daughter prefer to stay warm in the winter.
Certifications:
Michael’s father had a plumbing company, and his dad taught the trade to Michael and his brother Mat, also on our team. Michael has been in plumbing for 25 years and joined us in 2019. He still enjoys the challenges he gets to solve on the job – doing things right without taking shortcuts. Michael has two children, and he enjoys fly fishing, mountaineering, and riding his motorcycle.
Certifications:
Chuy followed his brother into the plumbing trade more than 20 years ago after coming to this country in 1993. He joined our team in 2013 and he still enjoys the challenge of putting his skills to use in a variety of settings and scenarios. Chuy enjoys spending time with his extended family in the Denver area, and in his off hours he goes out on the town to listen to live bands and see movies.
Certifications:
Keegan joined our team in 2019, a year after arriving in Colorado and deciding that a career in the oil fields was not for him. As he puts it, he’d rather work with his brain than use his body as a tool! He’s learning quickly and finds that much of plumbing is intuitive, so it comes naturally to him. In his off hours, Keegan plays video games and enjoys time outdoors.
Clayton Thompson is a dedicated plumber apprentice at A Perfect Plumber. With several years of experience assisting plumbers, Clayton supports installations, runs piping for drains, and helps ensure venting systems are properly set up. He started his career in construction before transitioning to plumbing, where he’s been honing his skills for the past three to four years.
Certifications:
After working for several years at a handyman company involved in everything from installing electrical components to automotive work, Max joined our team in October 2023 to assist our journeymen plumbers, primarily with drainage and venting projects. Off the job, Max is active in jujitsu, and he enjoys lifting weights and playing paintball.
Adalia joined A Perfect Plumber in June 2024 and cut her teeth working with water heaters, boilers and HVAC; she’s rapidly learning other systems as well. She’s eager to advance in the plumbing trade and earn as many certifications as possible. Adalia is a wonderful artist and in her spare time she enjoys drawing and sketching.
